Project Overview
Cover design for the 2026 Falles booklet for the local falla called “La falla del Poble”, created to celebrate the commission’s 50th anniversary.
The project is conceptually built around the five senses (smell, touch, sight, taste, and hearing) as a way to explore memory, tradition, and the collective
experience of the Falles in Valencia, Spain.

Project Showcase
The project involved the creation of an original illustration developed from scratch, conceived to represent the five senses as a metaphor for the lived experience of the falla over five decades. The cover sets the tone for the booklet, blending tradition with a contemporary visual language through a symbolic and expressive approach.
The interior of the booklet is complemented by a series of poems written to accompany the preliminary sketches of the Falles monument. Together, illustration and text create a cohesive narrative that adds an emotional and conceptual layer to the presentation of the monument and the anniversary being celebrated.
