Project Overview
Conceptual design and artistic direction of the mantle for the Virgin of the Desamparados at the Ofrenda de Valencia, one of the city’s most iconic cultural events. The project was conceived as a visual call for peace and an end to violence, with every color, motif, and element carefully chosen to convey a meaningful narrative. The Virgin measures 15 meters, and the installation was completed in just two days, with one million floral arrangements, creating a visually stunning and meticulously coordinated result on a massive scale during the event.

The project involved developing the mantle’s concept, visual language, and installation strategy from the ground up, including symbolic motifs, floral composition, and color palette, supported by research into tradition, cultural significance, and narrative impact. Artistic direction was applied throughout the entire process, coordinating the placement of one million floral arrangements in just two days to create a cohesive, immersive, and powerful experience. The goal was to honor the heritage of the Ofrenda de Valencia while conveying a message of peace and hope through design, demonstrating the scale, precision, and complexity of the project.
